Minneapolis Portrait Photographer • PUG Bridal Shoot

I've been attending the PUG (Minneapolis Pictage User Group) meetings since this winter. It's always a great opportunity to network with other wedding and portrait photographers. Plus, there are often guest speakers and monthly topics to keep everyone current about the industry.  This month we skipped the studio meeting and had a portrait shoot instead. Thanks so much to all the vendors and our wonderful models who donated their time and products to the shoot.

We started Jill & Aaron's engagement photo session at Elm Creek Park Reserve. As the storm clouds rolled in, we knew we'd have to split their session into two days. It worked out well, as they received both natural and urban imagery.

Rock the Dress Session • Melody & Dan

There's a new type of portraiture that's gaining in popularity. Some call it Trash the Dress, others call it Day After or Just Married sessions. We like to call it Rock the Dress. The session can be with just the bride or with the bride and groom. Maybe your wedding day was a bit hectic and you didn't have enough time for bride and groom portraits. Perhaps you LOVE your wedding dress and want some artistic shots (with you wearing it again!) in a location other than your wedding venues. Think woods, beach, old farm, downtown Minneapolis - the possibilities are endless.
